Do you have children at home? Are you a granny or auntie or do you have neighbours who have children? If you do and would like these children to know a little bit more about Jesus, then we invite you to join in our Storybag Ministry.

It is difficult at times to encourage our children to know the great stories in the Bible; stories which you yourself may have heard and loved. What our church is trying to do is give our children a chance to hear them.

The very simple thing we want to do is to give each child a bag. The bag will contain a book about a story in the Bible; a book of interest; and a book for personal enjoyment eg colouring in, etc., or a toy for the little ones. The bags are for five different ages:-1. toddlers 2. 3-5years 3. 6-8years 4. 9-11years 5. young adults

When the child has finished the stories, they will simply swap the bag for another which will have different stories. This will be done by the child him or herself, or someone from the church delivering another bag, and taking the old one back. Of course we will need parental permission.

Please help us spread the gospel in our parish.
